It is known who writes history...
Here are a few words about us...
We bear witness that real things in life happen spontaneously. Such was our contact with coffee roasting equipment. Some dear people who were into coffee decided to move out of Serbia and asked us to keep the equipment until they sell it. Since there was a sack of green coffee with the machine, we told ourselves: “Let’s try it… so the coffee doesn’t go to waste.”
And so it began. A challenge was created, and Samba was founded on 08.02.1999.
Every beginning is hard, and ours especially because it took place in troubled times, burdened with unprecedented inflation and war. In times of disintegration, when society is breaking down, there is nothing good. Yet, from such an ambiance, Samba emerged. We used this inopportune time to master the roasting technique and gain essential knowledge about the quality of green coffee. Once the “pieces fell into place”, it quickly resulted with the distinctive taste of Samba. When you start a business in a garage, it’s clear that you have nothing… except tremendous will and enthusiasm, as well as a strong desire to present your product to consumers, even though you are the last in the production chain. We won consumers’ emotions with the first sip, which gave us a strong incentive that we were on the right path. Consumers said Yes with a big Y.
And then development happened…

Several crucial moments in our development are:
I The initial phase of mastering the roasting method and creating distinctiveness in taste.
II Transition from manual to machine (automatic) packaging.
III Introducing modern equipment into production, implying complete automation of the production process.
IV Achieving recognition at the food fair in Novi Sad, the most eminent fair of this type in the region.
Each of the mentioned developmental stages is a separate chapter in our lives. What they all have in common is willpower, effort, and sweat…
When, after so much time, I enter the facility and look at all these computers, touch panels, automation, the lab…
I fondly remember our garage.
